Introduction

The PCI-855VE boards is an all in one Intel® Pentium® 479 based slot PCI processor board. The board takes up to a 2GHz socket 479 Intel® Pentium® M CPU from Intel and supports up to 1GB of DDR memory via a single 200 pin SODIMM socket.

Beside all standard interfaces (two COM ports, one as RS232, other as RS232/422/485, EPP/ECP parallel port, floppy, 2x USB), a high speed on chip video controller (Intel® 855GME) is fitted. It can operate VGA and LCD flat panels in parallel even with different screen content. One EIDE interface and a CompactFlash are available to support various mass storage devices. Additionally the board is equipped with an Ethernet 10/100Base-T interface (Twisted Pair) with a second Gigabit controller as an option

The board is fully RoHS compliant.
