1. Modify the value of the NoDriveTypeAutoRun entry to 0xb5 value to turn off the AutoRun feature for CD-ROMs by right-click NoDriveTypeAutoRun and then click Modify to type B5 in the Value data box. Select Hexadecimal, and then click OK.
2. Quit Registry Editor.
3. Restart your computer.

Now here are easy steps to kill the virus.

1. Go to Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del)
2. in that click on Process Tab
3. Delete only the svchost.exe of your user name
4. type c:\heap41a in you address barof your explorer and you can trace this folder

A batch File virus

I’ve tried this on windows XP and it seems to kill the computer and it forces the computer to blue screen then reset. [I've yet to text on vista] This is what I did….

1. Opened up notepad and typed
start important.bat
start important1.bat
close;

2. Clicked save as and saved it as important.bat

3. Clicked save as again and saved it as important1.bat

4. When you click on either 1 of the bats it will spam CMD windows thus killing you memory and forcing it to blue screen and reset

you can rename ‘important.bat’ and ‘important1.bat’ anything you want but make sure it’s

start [bat name file].bat
start [bat name file].bat
close;

Worms are programs that replicate themselves from system to system without the use of a host file. This is in contrast to viruses, which requires the spreading of an infected host file.
