GATE 2010 details

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development
(MHRD), Government of India.

Important Dates
1) Commencement of sale of Information Brochure and Application Form/Online
Application Form submission: September 22, 2009
2) Last date for issue of Information Brochure and Application Form:

a) by post from GATE Offices:October 20, 2009
b) at bank counters: October 28, 2009
c) at GATE office counters: October 30, 2009

3) Last date for Submission of Online Application Form (website closure): October 28, 2009(6 PM)
3) Last date for Receipt of completed Offline/Online Application Form at
respective zonal GATE Office: November 03, 2009
4) Announcement of results: March 15, 2010

Date of the examination :
1) Computer based ONLINE Examination for TF paper from 09.30 hrs to 12.30 hrs: Feb 07 2010
2) Computer based ONLINE Examination for MN paper from 14.30 hrs to 17.30 hrs: Feb 07 2010
3) OFFLINE Examination for all papers except TF and MN from 09.30 hrs to 12.30 hrs: Feb 14 2010
