Vinayaka Missions University is located at the southern state of Tamil Nadu, India. It was conferred a University status by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India under section 3 of the University Grants Act, 1956. It got the 'Deemed University 'Status in 2001. In 2009 the Vinayaka Missions University Common Entrance Test for admissions to the B.E. Degree courses will be held on 17th May, 2009. The application procedure for the ME/ MBA/MCA degree courses is also same.

Selection of the candidate is based on the personal Interview and written test of the candidate. The selection of the candidate is also based on the rules and regulation of the Vinayaka Mission University.
VMU CET 2010 Admission procedure:
Selection will be made on merit, based on the marks secured in the Entrance Examination conducted by this University on All India basis. Course and the College will be allotted through counseling. Admission to B.Archis subject to the Aptitude Test to be conducted by NATA.
