I am immensely happy to inform you that the JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD, has been given the responsibility to organize the South Zone Inter University (Men) CRICKET Tournament for the year 2009-10 by the Association of Indian Universities .The tournament will be held at Hyderabad from 14-12-2009 to 23-12-2009.
On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD,Hyderabad and the Tournament Organizing Committee, I extend a warm welcome to all the participating teams in the tournament.
Hyderabad is a cosmopolitan city which needs no introduction because of its historical value and cultural heritage. It is regarded as a reputed Information Technology hub and knowledge centre in south India. Hyderabad is rated as a “Tourist’s Paradise” with its bewitching coral strands and historical monuments like Charminar, Jumma Masjid,Golkonda Fort etc. It also extends spiritual solace through the famous Laxmi Narasimha Swami Temple ,Chilukuru Balaji temple (Popular as VISA God) and Birla Temple . A copy of the fixtures and the required information about the Tournament is enclosed.
